Our practice began in 1978 as Pacific City Medical Clinic, an extension of Lincoln City Medical Center. Several physicians staffed the clinic in early years on a part time basis, including Drs. Erling Oksenholt, Deo Fisher, Sanford Herr, and Michael Cheek. In 1982 Dr. Albert Thompson began full time practice. His wife Myra Thompson, RN, MS, FNP joined him in 1993. Major changes followed in 1994 when the clinic became independent from LCMC and obtained the designation as a federally qualified “Rural Health Clinic”. In October, 2001, Dr. Craig A. Brown joined our practice, giving us three providers in the clinic. For more information on our clinic, you can request a brochure from our office.

Bayshore Professional Plaza was completed for occupancy in December 2001, with Bayshore Family Medicine seeing patients on Dec. 10, 2001.

Bayshore Professional Plaza consists of four suites, suite A is Bayshore Family Medicine, suite B is Bayshore Dental Images, and suite C is Bayshore Physical Therapy and Fitness Center.
